I’m Query Mad

For the past week I have queried 28 different agents. I have already received five rejections. I’m not upset by the rejections. The truth is, this a tough door to open and you have to have thick skin to make it. And the thick skin isn’t just for the rejections…it’s the reviews, it’s the ‘fans’ that will critique your book, it’s for those that will hate you just because they can. I’m okay with it all. We all have our likes and dislikes. I know that I will find the agent that is supposed to be with me on this journey.

Now that the queries are out there in the big, bad world, I have no excuse but to start on book two of the series, Vow.

…oh, wait…I need to paint that room…organize the cabinets…

No, I want to start. Cassie’s story isn’t finished, in fact, it’s just beginning and it’s gonna be full of love, passion, sadness, reunions, and revenge.

I realized though, I need to more active Twitter. It’s such a different platform than Facebook. I’m an introvert (really I am), and I don’t usually like making the first move. I feel pushy when I do that, but this the way the world is now. So, if you’re curious, my Twitter handle is @cc_beau.
