It's been forever since I wrote here, and a lot has happened (and will happen). #1--I graduate with my BA in Anthropology and History, and minor in Classical Studies in December of 2023. #2--Already been accepted to the Anthropology Master's program at UofL. #3--Will be applying to a few more schools out West. #4--I am... Writing Music
I'm constantly listening to music, looking up lyrics, searching for songs that play on shows and movies in the backgrounds. Music is a passion of mine. I can't play an instrument and I cannot sing--but that does not stop me.
Official Soundtrack to Absolution
Since Absolution is as done as I can get it, I want to share the soundtrack. Each song is a chapter title, as is the title of the novel.
I’m Query Mad
For the past week I have queried 28 different agents. I have already received five rejections. I'm not upset by the rejections. The truth is, this a tough door to open and you have to have thick skin to make it.

Why?
I have been writing since I was a child. My fourth grade teacher had an assignment for us that she gave us titles and we had to write a short story. Mine was "When Seconds Count". She told me years later that she kept that story an example for her students.Â
Absolution By Gary Numan
When I pulled the lyrics up on this song, my first thought reading them was from a mother's perspective. I would do anything for my daughter.
Curtain Call by Tori Amos
Let me set the scene... I have heard this song numerous times before, but it struck a cord (see what I did there?) while driving from Florida to Indiana in June of 2009 when we were officially moving.Â
