Writing Music

I’m constantly listening to music, looking up lyrics, searching for songs that play on shows and movies in the backgrounds. Music is a passion of mine. I can’t play an instrument and I cannot sing–but that does not stop me.

Music inspires me in my writing. I hear a song and I see a scene unfolding in my imagination. It helps me focus on the feelings I want to portray in my writing.

You will notice a lot of Tori Amos, Lana Del Ray, Florence + The Machine. And covers of some great songs as well.
