tori amos – Useless Ramblings

I'm constantly listening to music, looking up lyrics, searching for songs that play on shows and movies in the backgrounds. Music is a passion of mine. I can't play an instrument and I cannot sing--but that does not stop me.

Since Absolution is as done as I can get it, I want to share the soundtrack. Each song is a chapter title, as is the title of the novel.

Celebrities... I have my favorite actors, authors, news hosts, political pundits, scientists. I follow some on social media.

I have been writing since I was a child. My fourth grade teacher had an assignment for us that she gave us titles and we had to write a short story. Mine was "When Seconds Count". She told me years later that she kept that story an example for her students.

Let me set the scene... I have heard this song numerous times before, but it struck a cord (see what I did there?) while driving from Florida to Indiana in June of 2009 when we were officially moving.

I think one of the most powerful forms of memory is music.
